SHOOTING EXPERIENCES AT ASHCOMBE
Our Experience packages are a great way to try clay target shooting, whether as a Fun way to spend a few hours with friends or to see if it’s the sport for you with a view to getting more involved and using it as a precursor to a series of lessons.
An experience is firmly focused on having fun and hitting plenty of targets in a safe, relaxed environment with our friendly and knowledgeable instructors. We supply everything you will need including Hearing & Eye protection, loan of a gun and of course the ammunition and targets. We use a range of guns in varying calibres to ensure that we have the right equipment to fit you whether you are a petite 4ft 10 or a strapping 6ft 6! Gender isn’t an issue if you would like to try clay target shooting and we have guns specifically designed for Ladies, we have had clients from teenagers up to 80+ that have had a great time so there are very few barriers to enjoying this inclusive sport.
Using specially designed lightweight ammunition to ensure that everyone finds the experience as comfortable as possible and targets that are set to entertain, we are very confident that you’ll go home having hit more than you expected and with plenty of happy memories, we are proud that we have a high number of repeat customers who come back to us year after year.
WHAT PACKAGES DO YOU DO?
You can choose from our 25 or 50 shot packages where you will shoot from 3 different shooting positions on our undercover all weather Training layout. Whilst our 25 shot customers will get to shoot some pairs of clays featuring two different targets our 50 shot option will see you tackling our exciting “Simultaneous” pairs where you shoot at two different targets which are thrown into the air at the same time to test your reflexes and newly found skills. Even if you’ve never held a gun before you can expect to hit plenty of these testing targets.
Whether you are just looking for a fun few hours or celebrating a special occasion our clay shooting experience is a great way to try something new and exciting whatever the weather, and you can always start your day with one of our fantastic breakfasts from our restaurant or grab a tasty lunch.
HOW MUCH DOES AN EXPERIENCE COST?
Prices vary from £35 per person for our 25 shot experience to £65 for our 50 shot offering. Depending on which shot experience you choose and the size your group the experience can last anything from 1 hour up to 2 and half hours approximately. We do recommend booking well in advance, if possible, to get the time slot you want though we do on occasion have limited availability on the day so do give us a call if you are looking for something at late notice. We are able to accommodate groups of mixed sizes from one person up to 20 or more though we ask that for larger bookings we do need plenty of notice.
