MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

Membership shall entitle members to use facilities at Ashcombe Shooting Ground (subject to the rules) and shall comprise persons in such classes of the membership as the Manager decides from time to time.

 

Admission to the membership shall be at the sole discretion of the Manager. The decision of the Manager on whether any candidate shall be admitted shall be final and the Manager shall not be required to give any reason for its decision.

 

Every candidate shall complete an appropriate application form stating the applicant’s name, age, address & any further information

 

The applicant shall be admitted at such times as the Manager shall decide.

 

Any omission from or inaccuracy in the particulars relating to, or description of, any applicant shall render his/her admission voidable at the discretion of the Manager.

 

Membership shall run for 12 months from date of joining.  

 

Immediately upon the admission of a member he or she shall be entitled to all benefits and privileges of the club and shall be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

The Manager shall have the power to appoint & dismiss Honorary & Temporary Members at their discretion.

 

The amounts of joining fees, subscriptions, guest fees, usage process & all other sales, prices & charges shall be determined by the Manager and displayed at Ashcombe Shooting Ground.

 

All entrance fees and subscriptions shall be paid as required.

 

Membership of Ashcombe Ground will cease;

A) By notice in writing or email to the Ashcombe Shooting Ground resigning membership.

B) By failure to pay the annual subscription within two weeks of it falling due and written renewal letter having been sent. In the interim no member whose membership is not up to date will receive their membership benefits.

C) The Manager in their absolute discretion and without being required to assign any reason, termination or suspending the membership of any member.  

 

Members’ subscriptions may not be reimbursed in whole or in part under any circumstances, unless decided by the Manager

 

A duly admitted and paid-up member of Ashcombe shall be entitled to all the benefits and privileges of Ashcombe & shall be bound by the Terms & Conditions of the ground for the time being so in force but shall acquire no proprietary rights in the Ashcombe Shooting Ground premises or in any of its facilities.  

 

Membership benefits are non-transferable and any member who allows his/her membership to be used by a non-member shall be liable to immediate termination of the membership.  

 

Every member shall always ensure that Ashcombe is in possession of his/her main home address / Email to which any correspondence should be addressed. Any letter or notice sent by post or Email to those addresses shall be deemed to have been received 48 hours after it was posted.
